Unbridled Joy in the Rain

Standing by the sea with my face upturned, 
catching raindrops on my tongue, 
some past my lips found their way, 
some on my eyelashes hung...
pirouetting in joy, 
clapping with glee,
I thank the Universe
for giving this day to me
