Unglued
your slightest touch
leaves me ablaze, unglued
how am i to live
knowing it's possible to feel so alive
and yet walk around
feeling as heavy as wood?

Saw death at close quarters, heard many lies, opened up like a flower only to clam shut like an oyster…all reflected in my out-pourings...
